A tale of trial and tribulation, Eastern Food Market was one of the first purveyors of Halal Meats and groceries from the Middle East, India, Paksitan, and Africa in Southern Ontario. After struggling for just over a decade since 1999, it was taken over by business veteran Nadeem Younis who turned a struggling 1000 squarefoot shop in an alley into a 15,000 sqft enterprise that is still rapidly growing 10 years later.
