One of the most common questions about using small remote-controlled helicopters for hobbies and emergencies is, "Do I need RC helicopter parts for my purchase?" The short answer is no, you do not need any extra parts to get your quadcopter flying in minutes. Most of the consumer RC helicopters are already equipped with propellers and other flight time. Some RC modelers (especially beginners) think they need to buy extra propellers to start their flight time and the result is a more expensive RC model than they would have spent on a more basic model without the extra cost. This might seem like a lot of money to spend on a hobby, but it's not much when compared to the price of an insurance bill or even gas for your car!
