Rossana Mitchell's journey to the United States began when she immigrated from Lima, Peru, at the age of 8, and she grew up in Rowland Heights. After completing her college education at the University of California, Irvine, she settled in Chino Hills in 1985. Prior to earning her law degree and being admitted to the State Bar of California in 2000, she dedicated her time to being a full-time mother and homemaker.

Before becoming an attorney and since establishing her practice in 2001, Rossana Mitchell has upheld a strong commitment to civic and educational engagement in the Chino Hills community. She has previously held a position on the Chino Hills City Council and served as President of the Chino Valley School District Board of Education. Additionally, she has devoted a significant amount of her time to volunteer activities, which includes coaching her daughters’ AYSO soccer team.
