The Professional Sales Association is the main representative body for travelling sales people in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Tracing our history back to the 1800’s and the days of the commercial traveller today we are a National Branch within Unite the Union. We welcome salaried sales staff and self- employed agents to our ranks. Unlike other Trade Bodies our main interest is in representing our members rights and in defending these rights in disputes with employers and principles. As part of Unite we are able to draw on the cumulative resources of the largest Trade Union in the British Isles. Through Unite our members have access to some of the best Legal Representation and advice in the country. This key benefit sees our members better placed to ensure parity between themselves and their employers and principles Our Local Branch Network ensures ground level contact and a ready source of information and support. Local Branch meetings are held regularly in most areas of the country with access to regional representatives. Often those working in sales can feel isolated and in times of dispute with employer or principle very vulnerable. The world of work is changing rapidly. With remote monitoring and large organisations far away from the place of work adequate representation for the individual has never been more important.
